What Is A Facial Cupping & Acupuncture Treatment?
Cupping and acupuncture are two ancient healing techniques that work beautifully together to restore balance and support your body’s natural ability to heal.
Cupping uses a gentle suction cup placed on your face’s skin to encourage blood flow, release tight check and jaw muscles, and ease tension. Many people describe it as a soothing, deeply relaxing treatment that helps the face feel lighter and less congested.
Acupuncture involves the use of fine, hair-thin needles placed at specific points on the face to stimulate energy flow (known as “Qi”), reduce stress, and address imbalances. It’s a calming therapy that not only supports physical wellbeing but also helps settle the mind and emotions.
When combined, cupping and acupuncture provide a powerful, holistic treatment — easing muscle tension, calming the nervous system, and leaving you with a renewed sense of balance and wellbeing.
Our Treatment for You?
You’ll be guided through a luxurious, rejuvenating experience designed to leave you feeling relaxed, revitalised, and radiant, with a naturally lifted appearance.
Your session begins with cosmetic acupuncture with Dr Eliza, who gently places fine needles to improve skin elasticity, reduce the appearance of fine lines, and stimulate natural collagen production. The needles are left in place for around 30 minutes while you relax in a serene, calming space.
Once the acupuncture is complete, Anna applies a soothing organic clay mask blended with herbs, designed to brighten, tone, and balance your complexion. While the mask sets, she performs a relaxing hand and foot massage with gentle cupping, enhancing circulation and supporting overall relaxation.
After the mask is removed, facial cupping begins. This gentle technique stimulates circulation and lymphatic drainage across the face, especially around sinus areas, leaving your skin feeling refreshed and lifted.
To finish, jade rollers and gua sha tools are used to further smooth, contour, and enhance your natural glow. The combination of acupuncture, clay mask, cupping, and massage nourishes your skin with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, supporting hydration, balance, and the skin’s natural barrier.
You’ll leave your session feeling radiant, refreshed, and deeply relaxed, with a complexion that reflects both inner wellbeing and outer vitality.

Facial Cupping & Acupuncture FAQs
What is facial cupping?
Facial cupping uses small, gentle suction cups to stimulate circulation, relax facial muscles, and support lymphatic drainage. Unlike body cupping, facial cupping does not leave marks — it’s a safe, soothing treatment that helps refresh and tone the skin.
Does facial cupping hurt?
Not at all. The cups create a gentle pulling sensation that many clients find relaxing. The treatment is designed to be light and rejuvenating.
What is cosmetic acupuncture?
Cosmetic acupuncture uses very fine needles placed at specific points on the face (and sometimes body) to support energy flow, encourage collagen production, improve skin tone, and soften fine lines. It’s often called a “natural facelift” because of its rejuvenating effects.
Will I see results straight away?
Most people notice their skin looking fresher and more radiant after the first treatment. For longer-lasting results, a series of sessions is recommended, as the effects build over time.
How long does the treatment take?
A combined facial cupping and acupuncture session usually lasts between 60–90 minutes, depending on your personalised treatment plan.
How many treatments will I need?
It depends on your goals. Some clients come for a one-off boost before a special occasion, while others choose a series of treatments for longer-term skin health and rejuvenation. I’ll recommend what’s best for you at your first session.
Is it safe?
Yes — when performed by a trained practitioner. I always use high-quality, sterile, single-use acupuncture needles and gentle cupping methods designed specifically for the face.
Are there any side effects?
Mild redness can occur after facial cupping or acupuncture due to increased circulation, but this usually fades within a few hours. Most people leave the treatment feeling relaxed, refreshed, and glowing.
Who can benefit from this treatment?
Anyone looking for a natural way to brighten their complexion, release facial tension, or support overall wellbeing can benefit. It’s especially helpful for people who hold stress in their jaw or forehead, or who want a holistic approach to skin health.
