Shungite the Miracle Stone

Shungite is a black crystal that comes in the form of either shiny or dull stone. Dull shungite is the more plentiful form. Shiny shungite (noble or elite shungite) has a glassy black metallic appearance. It is the rarest, most potent, and expensive form of shungite. It is known as the “miracle stone” due to its various chemical and physical characteristics that have shown to reduce EMF radiation and purify water. Geologists are still learning about this crystal’s potential.

The first deposit of shungite was found in a village near Shunga, in Karelia, Russia a century ago. Its chemical and physical properties were further discovered in 1985 by American scientist Robert Smoli, Robert Curl, and British scientist Harold Kroto. In 1996, the Nobel prize was awarded to these scientists for discovering the carbon structure of Fullerene. In fullerenes, carbon is bound in chains that make up lattices, (see image below). This special structure has allowed scientists in developing the use of shungite for a broad range of applications.

These include water treatment, restorative agronomy, radiation shielding materials, nanotechnology, stealth technology, chemical decontamination, and a new generation of medical breakthroughs.

Shungite crystal is a stone used to assist in the electromagnetic field (EMF) protection, purification of drinking water, and detoxification of the body, as well as general healing and emotional wellbeing at home and or at work. Shungite crystals are activated when placed around devices and cables and the same when wearing shungite during the use of a device especially the mobile phone and laptop.
